vegetarian meatballs

Making vegetarian meatballs is so easy. This last week, I pulled out my recipe book and decided to make something fun with my Princess. It is so easy to get stuck in a food rut. So making new foods and getting my Princess to help in the kitchen {which she loves to do} is a fun family time. Vegetarian meatballs is quick and simple. My 4 year old did most of it. I measured the ingredients and she poured and mixed. Rolling the gooey mixture is fun even for mommy. I had to help my Princess with the … [Read more...]

weight watchers recipe

With very few days left to harvest these fresh garden tomatoes, I am incorporating tomatoes in any recipe I can like in an easy guacamole recipe. There are a few favorite recipes that I am eating while on Weight Watchers that taste great with guacamole. One of those recipes is Taco Salad. {I will have to post that recipe very soon.} The awesome thing is that guacamole is a great healthy condiment to eat while on Weight Watchers. Gender Neutral Baby Shower Ideas

I have a baby shower to attend this week. My childhood friend, whom I love dearly, is having her first baby. She does not know yet what she is having. She has decided she wants to be surprised. I could never be surprised - it is not my personality. But, she said, "This is the best surprise nature could give. The biggest surprise of your life." So it is exciting and everyone has their own idea of what she is having. Don't you love a great baby shower party? Of course, I looked up Pinterest … [Read more...]

How to Cook Swiss Chard

It is the season for Swiss Chard. Our local farmers in our county are providing us with great big organic chard, with a beautiful flavor, and full firm green leaves. Have you had the chance to eat some local organic produce this summer? If not, I encourage you to head to your local Farmer's Market and stock up on fresh seasonal produce. It is so worth it. Here is how we made our Swiss Chard: I chopped the stems like a celery stalk and sauteed them with red onions, garlic, … [Read more...]
