I recently wrote up a post about our trip to the Tulsa Zoo, we decided to go back down to Tulsa and check out the aquarium. We knew it would be a hit. What a great Mother's Day idea. (Please don't ask us about the 600 school children who also attended that day.) … [Read more...]

Airport Antics
We took a family trip over a long weekend last week. The Princess had her first seat on an airplane. Before this she had always sat on my lap. Grandpa and Grandma (a.ka. Papa and Nana) also rode in our same row. Praise God, there was an extra seat next to them as well. For the first time in two years of flying many flights with my beloved daughter, I was able to relax and read a book. Whoo hoo!!!We went to California for my husband's annual worker's meeting. Tesco (store brand) chocolate mint fingers (our version of Kit Kat) - chocolate and mint, need I say more? Old buildings - you never run out of … [Read more...]

On Tuesday we woke up with a plan. We were going to the Arc de Triomphe in the morning first thing and we then planned to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. When we arrived we found out much to our dismay that the Arc was closed for the day. It was a holiday - Bastille Day. We were wondering why there was almost no cafes open and the subways were quite empty. After walking around for a little while down by the Arc we were off to the Eiffel Tower. The line was long and we needed to both use the … [Read more...]
