Here are a few of the things I loved about our vacation:
Playgrounds – England has great playgrounds for children. Playground equipment I have never seen. Isabella loved it too!
Chips – I always did love french fries with vinegar. So for quite cheap I was able to purchase a large chips in paper wrapped up with vinegar and salt. Yummy!
Tesco (store brand) chocolate mint fingers (our version of Kit Kat) – chocolate and mint, need I say more?
Old buildings – you never run out of beautiful architecture to take photos of. Many were out the window of the car while driving.
English politeness – even on the subway (underground) people are so polite.
Rivers – it was nice to enjoy the beauty of the Thames in London and the Seine in Paris.
High speed trains – Going from London to Paris at 180 mph was fabulous. I would love to take one of these to S. California (especially after driving 8 hours today from San Diego area.)
Crepes – Nutella and banana ROCKED!
Pastry – French pastry like croissants made fresh can easily add pounds to the hips but happiness to the heart ๐
Hey, I just noticed many of the things I love were food! Well, I have been found out. I LOVE food ๐ Ha Ha Ha…
But sometimes the best thing I love about a vacation is coming home. You appreciate your home and the United States more when you have been gone for a long time.
