After being gone for 4 weeks (when we thought we would be gone for 2), it feels great to be home. Our seminar ended with a good number of people baptized and more who recommitted their life to Christ. It is always difficult to make new friends and then leave. But it is nice to know that we will have a BIG reunion again one day in Heaven. After our seminar ended in Oklahoma we were invited to go up to Branson, MO for 3 nights with the Pastor's family. We gladly and readily accepted their … [Read more...]
Robin Hood, Tea and Chocolate
Nottingham Castle Robin Hood We decided to head over to Nottingham Castle today. Tyler had two hours of lunch break available. When we finally parked and got into the entrance, we found out that we would not have enough time to see all the exhibits. (And we had to pay 4 pounds to realize that, bummer!) We will return tomorrow afternoon. I am excited to see it. The last few months I rented "Robin Hood", a BBC America television show. (Not because I knew we were coming here, but because I … [Read more...]
No Bias Here: We Have the Best Daddy Ever!
My sweet husband is still recovering from jet lag and time change from his mission trip in Ukraine (10 hours ahead). So two nights ago he woke up at 2:30 am and never went back to sleep and last night he woke up at 3:30 am for the day. He was happy to open his gifts. I was able to get him a great pair of summer Teva shoes … [Read more...]
Packing, Packing, Packing

You know I have already said that the flight to Washington is exhausting but it will be nice to be home again. All week we ate the food in our fridge, didn't go shopping once, so today we went to In & Out … [Read more...]

Grandparents are Important
I don't think that some people realize how lucky they are to have grandparents living nearby. This long holiday weekend we have had the luxury of having my parents here. It has been heaven. They help so much with Isabella, and they love playing with her. We love her so much but it is so nice to have others here to hold her, play with her, pick her up, wash her, change her, feed her, walk with her.... and so much more. And she loves it too. My parents came down for Labor Day weekend, … [Read more...]
