We are leaving tomorrow for 19 days! Wow. That is a long trip. Isabella loves helping mommy pack, but she doesn’t understand that the things need to say in the suitcase. When packing our carry on luggage, she wanted all the books, toys and snacks NOW. I packed LOTS to keep her busy. You know I have already said that the flight to Washington is exhausting but it will be nice to be home again.
All week we ate the food in our fridge, didn’t go shopping once, so today we went to In & Out Burger for veggie “animal style” (funny name for no meat) and fries. We even brought our own vegetarian burger patty. Daddy HAS to get a milkshake when we go, and so today for the first time Isabella tried a milkshake. (I don’t do dairy, but daddy does when we eat out, so the Princess has not had an opportunity before this to taste it.) She LOVED it, of course. She didn’t want to quit drinking it. So what happened? She has pooped three times, BIG POOPS, from the dairy I am sure. (I could post a picture but I am sure no one would be interested in that.) 🙂
And thankfully, I am noticing that as she gets older she is sleeping better. I can tell her to close her eyes and go back to sleep when she wakes up in the middle of the night and lately she listens to me. Today she even fell asleep on my shoulder in Target. A very unusual thing. But it does give me hope that I don’t have a terrible sleeper for a child.
While I have been blogging this, the Princess has been awfully quiet. So as I turn around, I see her getting into her wipes. All of them, all over the floor! Do your children love to pull all the wipes out? Or the diapers? Or the tea packets? Anything she can pull out and make a mess with, she will.
So I politely asked her to put them back and of course she did! 😉
