We were gone this last week for work. (Again.) But this time, we left our Princess with her grandparents. (Praise God for grandparents!)So while we were gone, missing our Princess more than she missed us, we called often to check in on her.One of the days, Daddy decided to pretend her was Santa Claus. (She now believes that Santa Claus does exist.)He ho ho ho'ed throughout the conversation which he asked her if she was a good girl. He encouraged her to continue to be a good girl, to love Jesus, … [Read more...]

Santa Claus Kids Crafts Ideas

December 1, 2011 By LaVonne

We had to go to our local mall this week. While playing at the playground inside the mall, guess who walked by? Yes, Santa Clause. He stopped to say hello to my Princess and give her a hug and a candy cane. She was overjoyed. Last year she was terrified of Santa Claus. This year she hugged him, and excitedly said, "He is real!" It was so cute. This year I made chocolate chip cookies dipped in vanilla almond … [Read more...]

Merry Christmas!

December 26, 2008 By LaVonne

Well, Christmas is coming to an end. It always comes and goes so fast in my opinion. We had a wonderful day today though! My parents and sister are here and though we tried not to spoil Isabella too much, she did seem to get a lot! I can see why toys easily accumulate. Isabella's top three favorite things: a couch, a baby stroller, and an ornament. The baby buggy was really for her dolly, but she really wanted to ride in it instead. So everyone had to take their turn pushing her. Which started … [Read more...]
