Isabella was quiet in the office this morning. Whenever she is unusually quiet I know she is up to something. So I checked on her, and sure enough she was working hard at getting her Crocs on. Isabella LOVES her Crocs. She didn't do too bad either.Today, I went to Target and was able to buy 20 Fiber One items (bars, toaster pastries, and cereal) for $18 OOP and got back $20 in Target Gift Cards. That is a $2 money maker! I love when stores pay me to buy products. I also love getting all my fiber … [Read more...]

Gratituesday: He is My Sunshine
I am so thankful today for the 87 degree weather. It is so nice to be outside on our deck. Plus, Isabella loves playing in her inflatable pool. It is funny though, 2 years ago I would have been out there with my bathing suit trying to work on my tan. What happens to us when we have children? That is not even important any more. I actually sat in the shade (gasp) with my Karen Kingsbury book (Sunrise) and enjoyed the warmth and fresh air. Then, Isabella rudely suddenly interrupted my relaxation … [Read more...]
Speaking In Her Sleep
Last night Isabella spoke in her sleep for the first time. Well at least the first time I heard her. She said "Ba Ba". I think she was dreaming about her new Elmo doll. He says, "Ba Ba please" when his bottle is taken out of his mouth. For the last few day she has been going around the house saying "Ba Ba" and trying to drink his little bottle. She has never drank out of a bottle, so it is all a novelty to her.She is still breastfeeding and has now picked her favorite side. I try to start … [Read more...]
Easter Eggies
Does anyone else say eggies? We always say it here. My Princess probably thinks they are actually called eggies instead of eggs. We had such a great Easter yesterday. It was the first time Isabella had an Easter Egg Hunt. She loved it. She wanted daddy to keep "hiding" them. We did it four times! I cannot tell you how cute it was.We also talked about Jesus a lot. At church she saw a powerpoint slide of Jesus, she pointed at Him and said Jesus. I can. Yes, Isabella, Jesus has Risen and that is … [Read more...]
Grandma’s Easter Suprise
Grandma sent the Princess an Easter box filled with "grass" and eggs yesterday.Opening the box and emptying its contents was very fun for her. She actually really liked putting the grass in a pile and stepping on the plastic popping filler (what is the name of that stuff?) more than the eggs. That was until mommy opened the eggs, took out a piece of candy and ate it. I did try to do it in such a way that she could not see it. But of course, eagle eye Isabella can see everything. So I gave her the … [Read more...]
