I am so thankful today for the 87 degree weather. It is so nice to be outside on our deck. Plus, Isabella loves playing in her inflatable pool. It is funny though, 2 years ago I would have been out there with my bathing suit trying to work on my tan. What happens to us when we have children? That is not even important any more. I actually sat in the shade (gasp) with my Karen Kingsbury book (Sunrise) and enjoyed the warmth and fresh air. Then, Isabella rudely suddenly interrupted my relaxation time with a cup full of water down the front of my shorts! Oh well, it is quite hot out.
One great thing that the sun brings that I was not aware of before – tired toddler. The last three days and nights she has slept better than she has for months. Sunshine stay!
Last night at about 9:30 pm, on his way home, after a very long day, my dear husband stopped at Safeway armed with directions (detailed list) and coupons. He was able to get 16 packages of Bertolli Premium Pasta Sauce for just over $3 and got back $26 dollars in coupons to use on the next transaction! I am so thankful for a great husband (who happened to be very proud when he got home that he did it all correctly). After all, he truly is my sunshine! And I am thankful for the Safeway Living Well Feeling Great Promotion that is great for stockpiling items we use regularly. (I can’t wait to go back and try the water deal that Moneywise Moms did.)
