My Princess is not old enough for "school" quite yet but we have slowly began to incorporate school in our schedule. Gratituesday: New Home?
We are having cool weather this week. It was in the 80s today! That means the Princess and I spent a considerable amount of time outside. I love our fresh air up here in the foothills. Outside the city, above the smog, it is wonderful. I love sunshine but when it is nearing 100, no thank you. 80s are perfect!On Friday, we put in our first offer on a house. A foreclosure. Frugal Friday: Free Contacts :)
Okay, so the title is a little misleading, I will freely admit to it. :) I just needed an excuse to show off my Princess. (There is a frugal tip under the last photo though.) She is so funny. Every day when I put on my contacts she follows me into the bathroom, gets up on her stool, and puts her "contacts" in too. Things I Love Thursday: Answered Prayers
God is so good to us. We are blessed! This week He has answered our prayers in two areas. First, my Princess' rash is almost completely gone. Top Ten List: Isabella Style
1. Isabella went potty all on her own yesterday! When we woke up, I went to the bathroom and left her on the bed. She got down and came in. Pointing at her potty chair she started pulling off her diaper. (Which, sometimes unfortunately, is not a good thing.) I did help her sit on the chair correctly since sometimes she sits too far forward and makes a pee pee mess. As she was sitting she started to giggle which I knew meant that pee pee was coming out. Prayer Request
So a week and a half ago we noticed a rash on the Princess' back. We thought it might be a heat rash or a contact rash. (It was pretty hot in Paris, especially on the Subway and we had to wash laundry in Nottingham in regular detergent.) After the weekend ended, the rash did not appear to be going away. We decided to take her to a pediatrician who told us not to worry. He said that almost all children get rashes and they are not serious. She never had a fever so we have not worried too much.
