Dads, do you need a guide for raising daughters?

Dads, do you need a guide for raising daughters?

Parenting is hard stuff. I say it a lot. But that's because it's true. It is the hardest job there is and the most important. Raising these children to not only be productive members of society but to also love and obey God? Well, most days I don't even know what I am doing. [Tweet "Parenting? Most days I don't know what I'm doing. #FCBlogger"] My daughter is already seven years old. I started this blog when we were living in California. I really wanted to keep my family updated on our … [Read more...]

Ready for Spring? Kids are Loving New FabKids Clothes!

I've mentioned on more than one occasion that we are loving our sunshine here in Western Washington. We had the warmest February on record. Our temperatures have been Spring-like for weeks. The daffodils are almost gone and the tulips have started to bloom. We are ready for Spring clothes! Thank goodness, new FabKids clothes are perfect for our transition to warmer weather. My daughter loves any time a new outfit from FabKids that shows up on our doorstep. She loves clothes. She … [Read more...]

On-the-Go? How About Easy Breakfast Biscuits?

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post with Honey Bunches of Oats and Sverve. All opinions are mine. My mornings are busy. Getting both kids ready and out the door by 7:20 am is not easy when you are not a morning person. Ugh, will I ever be a morning person? Grab and go breakfast options are necessary in a house like mine that's for sure. My daughter and I are not big breakfast eaters and there are many mornings that she and my Little Man are both eating something in our minivan. … [Read more...]

DIY Museum All About You

In honor of the Blu-ray release of Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb this week, I wanted to share with you a fun idea for the whole family: DIY Museum All About You! Gather your favorite toys, games, artwork, pictures or anything else that represents you. Put them on display in your room or house and give tours to your family and friends! I know my daughter would love to have a DIY museum in our house of the things that represent her. Do you have a child in your life that would love … [Read more...]

Christian St. Patrick's Day Printable Bag Topper

St. Patrick's Day is less than a week away! Where, oh where, is 2015 going? It is flying by! We don't usually do much for St. Patrick's Day in our home. We do wear green so no one gets pinched and I like to color our breakfast milk green. Other than that, we haven't talked much about St. Patrick's Day or celebrated it in any other way. This year, I was thankful to read a great kids craft idea from A Modern Day Fairy Tale on St. Patrick. He won many people for God in Ireland and he was a man of … [Read more...]

Feeling Beautiful on a Date with My Hubby!

Feeling Beautiful on a Date with My Hubby!

I participated in this sponsored campaign on behalf of Victoria Jackson® and One2One Network. All opinions stated are my own. Last week, my husband and I had a date. Since dates are few and far between, with a busy job and two young kids, feeling beautiful on my date is a must. I want it to be special. To be honest, most days I don't bother with makeup. If I know I am going to be home all day, it's yoga pants and no makeup. Having a cute outfit and great makeup for a date with the hubster … [Read more...]
