Elementary School Vegetarian Lunch Box Ideas

Now that we've quit homeschooling, we are dealing with packing school lunches. I have been searching the interenet for ideas. My daughter had our version of a vegetarian lunchable the first week. Then we moved on to hotdogs. Next, she got a regular cheese and vegetarian bologna sandwich. Throughout the last month, I've also given her pasta and leftover Asian food. She is getting bored now. We went to Headstart, Kindergarten and Elementary school together. And life as I knew it was fast changing. Change is scary. New people? Even more so. Of … [Read more...]

Operation Smile: Helping Children This Holiday Season

November 4, 2013 By LaVonne

As a family, we like to help children during the holiday season. We think it is important to help others and to teach our children the importance of helping others. My oldest will be six this holiday season, and I think she'd enjoy helping at a soup kitchen, shopping for children, and donating to our local food bank. Does your family have any special … [Read more...]

It is back to school time. Even though we are homeschooling, we still are getting ready for school this back to school season. We are preparing for one more year of preschool, but this year we will call it Pre-K. I have already been shopping for some new clothes for my Princess (who is growing like a weed), school supplies, and workbooks.
