Now that we’ve quit homeschooling, we are dealing with packing school lunches. I have been searching the interenet for ideas. My daughter had our version of a vegetarian lunchable the first week. Then we moved on to hotdogs. Next, she got a regular cheese and vegetarian bologna sandwich. Throughout the last month, I’ve also given her pasta and leftover Asian food. She is getting bored now. She wants new vegetarian lunch box ideas.
Last week she started using a new kid’s backpack and lunch bag that we absolutely love from Stephen Joseph. The Lunch Pals is just the right size for the various Bento-style lunch containers we own.
- Garden Vegetable Wrap with Berries
- Pasta with Marinara and Salad
- Grilled Cheese and Vegetables
- Smoked Gouda Pasta with Salad
- Hummus Pinwheels
- Vegetable Fried Rice
- PB&J Rollups
- Nacho’s Lunch Box (I’d use vegetarian taco meat)
- Strawberry Shortcake Waffle Sandwich
- Homemade Uncrustables (not pictured)

I love these ideas. While we are not vegetarians, my daughter is not a huge fan of meat.
These are some great ideas. It is so hard to get my nephew to eat his lunch at school. These might help!
That’s a really cute backpack. It looks like she gets some very special lunches. I guess the days of PB&J sandwiches are long gone
She got a heart shaped Pb & J on Friday and she loved it. She wants more PB & J. Some things never go out of style!
Those are great ideas! My youngest really dislikes meat and I often struggle with what to pack him but now I’ve got some inspiration!
packing lunches is one of my least favorite things, lol
