For the last few months, Nathanael has been asking for a Nintendo Switch. He saw a YouTube Kids video about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and he wanted it. That particular game is for the newest Nintendo console -- the Switch. We asked Nate if he'd like a large party with his classmates or if he'd like a very small party with family and a larger gift. He easily and quickly answered that he wanted a large present. (We asked that same question to our 9 year old and she asked for a large party.) So at … [Read more...]
Easy Ideas for a Bright and Festive Christmas Mantel
Each year we put our tree up on the day after Thanksgiving, in the evening, together as a family. I countdown those days in November. Best place to find great priced Christmas decor? Oriental Trading, hands down! I love how Oriental Trading has a blog -- there are so many great ideas there. Honestly, I was … [Read more...]

We planned the pool party for 12 pm - 3 pm, but everyone ended up staying longer. It was a record breaking hot day in Western Washington and the pool was the perfect place to be. I found great Little … [Read more...]

They have a warmer kiddie pool with a beach style entrance and a water slide. They also have the main pool with lap lanes. There is also a very deep pool with a diving board. We had the pool for 2 hours and invited her classmates and their families. We had a lot of fun. The kids were happy as well as the … [Read more...]
