Parenting is hard work. The hardest job that I have ever had or will ever have. This last month while my husband was away for about 9 days, I started working on yelling less and communicating with my daughter more. We've prayed together about it and she reminds me often that she is working on whining and complaining less, while I am working on yelling less. It has been a great bonding experience for us. It has shown her that mommy needs help too. This is why I am excited to be reviewing The … [Read more...]

This more recent practice has had amazing results with patients who had no heartbeat for even 20 minutes or more! My own heart is hurting because not only am I stuck here in Washington with a sick baby but I feel like there is no way to help. … [Read more...]

This last week we had a few prayer requests turned in about children: Children in trouble. Children whose parents are hooked on meth. Children who won't let their parents see the grand kids. Children who left the church. Which has convicted me once more. I need to be really praying for these two children of mine. Each day it seems that … [Read more...]

Printable Bible Verse Cupcake Toppers
I installed Photoshop Elements onto my laptop and I am having such fun. My Princess and I made cupcakes again this last week for church potluck - just a simple cake box and tub or frosting but I decided to make some cupcake toppers. I searched my favorite site for crafty ideas - Pinterest - but could not find the ones I wanted for church. I wanted ones with Bible verses. So I opened my Photoshop Elements program and made 2x2 inch cupcake toppers. I then put them on a 8.5x11 inch file and here … [Read more...]
New Book for the New Year: Let It Go by Karen Ehman

Through the already 13+ years of marriage we have experienced together, I have slowly started to let go of those control reigns and just let God and my husband lead. It was not easy. I went against my selfish nature. But now, our marriage is better than it was when we first started out. Let. It. Go. by Karen Ehman is a book that shares with … [Read more...]
