This week, my Princess loves the Perfect Pushup. She is so cute. I know I keep saying that. I know I am biased. But it is true. Tonight while daddy was doing his perfect push ups, she wanted to try too. So she held on to one handle and bent into it like a pushup and even made a grunting noise like daddy. We laughed so hard. I love this little girl. Of course, once I got up to get the camera, she was more interested in the camera than the perfect push up. … [Read more...]
Skype Me
Well, last night Grandpa called us on Skype. We both have accounts and cameras on our laptops. So we can talk and see each other. (Of course, we didn't start this until after Isabella was born. Grandpa and Grandma really love that girl!) Normally Isabella doesn't want to sit on my lap, won't sit still, and mainly tries to hit any key on the keyboard. Not last night though. She wanted to touch the screen and "touch" grandpa's face. She waved hi, said hi, and when Grandpa's connection kept failing … [Read more...]
Can’t You Give Me That Camera? PLEASE!
It is getting more difficult to take pictures of Isabella. She always wants the camera. She also knows when a picture is taken and wants to see each picture - push the forward button, and go through the pictures over and over. Is it possible for a 14 month old baby to have a stronger will than me? And why is it always just easier to give in? … [Read more...]
Vans In My Head, Vans On My Feet
So there is this old punk rock song we used to know about Vans, hence the title of this blog. I pulled out a pair of size 5 Vans for Isabella this week and she wore them today. They are just so cute, I had to blog about them. And since she loves shoes right now, it is especially fun to see her kick her feet and get excited about them too. We keep singing the Vans song all day. It is STUCK in my head. Besides shoes, Isabella loves bags too. Grandpa got her a new mini backpack for Valentine's Day. … [Read more...]
Happy Valentine’s Day
Today we have at least a foot of snow which is beautiful. It is Valentine's Day and I opened my gift from Tyler. It is the movie Fireproof. If you have not seen this movie yet, I recommend it highly. The acting is a little cheesy at first, but once you get into the story you completely forget. There are many scenes that bring you to tears but in the end it is wonderful. I love my gift today. Tyler also gave me a card that sings the song "Hey, good lookin". Isabella really likes that. We said … [Read more...]
Late Night Blogging Part 2
I am trying to catch up on my scrapbook. I have only finished through April of 2008. So tonight I worked on it for a little bit. Isabella had other plans though. She wanted to look at all the pages. She loves pictures, especially when she recognizes the people. Tonight she recognized Grandpa and Grandma from a page I did from March 2008 - their 30th anniversary page. So I told her that it was Grandpa and Grandma and she leaned down and kissed the picture of them holding her. How … [Read more...]
Late Night Blogging
Do you ever have a list of things in your head that you want to blog about? I do. All the time. The problem is I often forget. I need to write them down. Thank goodness for late night blogging. Today, is the second day that Isabella has been sitting on her potty trainer toilet and pretending to go to the bathroom. She wants the toilet paper to wipe, so I give her one square and she pretends to wipe then she puts her square in her toilet. It is so funny to see. By the way, in Washington, … [Read more...]
