I am trying to catch up on my scrapbook. I have only finished through April of 2008. So tonight I worked on it for a little bit. Isabella had other plans though. She wanted to look at all the pages. She loves pictures, especially when she recognizes the people. Tonight she recognized Grandpa and Grandma from a page I did from March 2008 – their 30th anniversary page. So I told her that it was Grandpa and Grandma and she leaned down and kissed the picture of them holding her. How precious! She also has been carrying around a picture today that is of her and Grandpa from one those photo booths. She tried to say Grandpa today while holding it, but that word is a little too difficult.
Tonight took 45 minutes to get her to sleep. {Will she always have sleep issues?} We were all laying in bed watching The Gospel According to Matthew – an excellent movie. I love this character portrayal of Jesus the best of all movies I have seen. So during the Sermon on the Mount scene (which is a very long scene) I told Isabella it was Jesus. She became overjoyed. She began to say Jesus! She climbed on her daddy, who was asleep, and told him Jesus. He woke up and was happy to hear our little princess saying Jesus. She watched the movie for about 10 minutes continually saying Jesus. Times like this make me not so unhappy that it is taking her 45 minutes to fall asleep.
By the way, will I ever get to catch up on my scrapbooking?
