Feeding the Hungry with Luke Bryan and Bayer

October 26, 2017 By LaVonne

This post was sponsored by Bayer U.S. and I was compensated for this article. Bayer is not responsible for any other content or advertisements on my site. All opinions are my own. I love eating food. Honestly, I love eating quality food that is grown local. I am blessed to live in a fertile valley, the Skagit Valley here in Washington state, where we have an abundance of great family farms to get produce from. In fact, this month we toured some of our local family farms during the … [Read more...]

Unique Building Sets the Kids Will Love!

October 22, 2017 By LaVonne

My son loves building toys. He loves to create buildings for his cars and toys to play on. When a toy can keep him busy for 30 minutes+ on his own, I am pleased too. He really does keep himself entertained far better than his sister ever did. He is currently loving his new unique building set from Strictly Briks.  He is so happy when he creates something that works well and looks great. I love seeing his enthusiasm! Do your kids love building toys? Strictly Briks - Unique Building Sets I … [Read more...]

Toy Room Organization: Play & Go Play Mat and Storage Bag

October 11, 2017 By LaVonne

What would you think about a toy accessory that can get your kids to play and then clean up without being asked? As a parent with two kids, and too many toys (can you say Hot Wheels cars?!) I am happy to have a toy accessory that can do this. Play & Go is actually two great products in one – an appealing storage bag with drawstrings and a beautiful play mat. Cute toy storage? I am all in! My five year old is the child in our family that loves to be organized. He cleans up his toys, … [Read more...]

A Fun Drone for Kids: My First Drone by Little Tikes

September 26, 2017 By LaVonne

As we traveled, we've seen many drones. In fact, my father even has a drone! My kids love drones and have asked for one repeatedly. Of course, I feel that the ones at our local stores are a bit pricey for their age but when I saw a fun affordable option from Little Tikes, I knew that my five year old would LOVE to try his own drone. My First Drone is the perfect drone for kids!  With a simple one-touch remote, protective propeller rings and auto-hover technology, this RC Drone is the best … [Read more...]

Baked Goods the Kids Love For On-the-Go

September 22, 2017 By LaVonne

This post was sponsored by Nabisco as part of an Integrated Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. My five year old started Kindergarten this school year. It's been an adjustment and he's still unsure if he likes going. He misses mommy. We send our children to a private school that is 27 minutes away from home. We can get hot lunch for them each day, but $4 per lunch adds up, so we pack a lunch four days a week. They pick the one day per week … [Read more...]

A New Kind of Pogo Ball for Today: Little Tikes Pogo-IT!

September 1, 2017 By LaVonne

Our school year has started, and when school is out, we still like for our kids to get outside and move. There are times that we have to force them to play in the backyard on the playground. But, when we have fun toys they can play with? Well, they don't have to be coerced at all. [Tweet "Keep the kids playing outside! @LittleTikes #PogoIT"] I have great memories as a child of the Pogo Ball. Now, my kids can enjoy a similar (but more fun) toy from Little Tikes: Pogo-IT! Did you have a … [Read more...]

Awesome STEM Education with Little Medical School Kits

June 28, 2017 By LaVonne

My two kids both love role playing in the medical field. Bring on the  white coat and stethoscope and they are happy! That’s the same vision behind Little Medical School’s launch of a retail line of kid-size healthcare wear, gear and activity items and they align perfectly with the need for more STEM products. These educational tools are irresistible to curious kids. I should know -- mine LOVE it. What is STEM Education In a world that’s becoming increasingly complex, where success is driven … [Read more...]
