(in no particular order)1. Cheerios and Spaghetti - she is going through this stage where she doesn't want anything but cheerios and shaghetti. Even things she used to love - like bananas - are passed on by. (Oh, and she will always eat a little of mommy's soy ice cream at night or popcorn.)2. Throw Your Hands in the Air - is a game that her and daddy play every day. He puts her on his shoulders and he sings, "throw your hands in the air, and wave them like you just don't care", and she sings … [Read more...]
Step Aside Tiger Woods
Much to the delight of grandpa and daddy, Isabella has wanted her new golf set two mornings in a row. It has been behind her other toys against the wall, so she cannot grab it. So both mornings she has whined for it, and once I grabbed it and took out the plastic golf balls, she happily hits away at them with the blue putter...Step Aside Tiger Woods! Here Comes I.B. Merry Christmas!
Well, Christmas is coming to an end. It always comes and goes so fast in my opinion. We had a wonderful day today though! My parents and sister are here and though we tried not to spoil Isabella too much, she did seem to get a lot! I can see why toys easily accumulate. Walking
Isabella has been walking for about 1 1/2 weeks. She doesn't walk far distances yet - only about 5 steps at a time. Seven steps is her all time high. Isabella loves steps and chairs. My mom has two exercise steps (for step aerobics), and she just bought Isabella a small child's plastic chair. Isabella really loves … [Read more...]
Bold and Daring Geese
We have had some great weather the last two days so we went to the park in Meadow Vista. When we arrived in the parking lot we say a gaggle of geese being fed by a woman. When I say gaggle I mean - like 40 birds (geese and white swan). Of course, us being city folk, we were excited. So Tyler took Isabella out and decided to feed them too - her cheerios. I held the cheerio bag and Tyler started passing out the cereal two at a time. Well, these geese were not wanting two; they began to get … [Read more...]
New Things Every Day
So, Isabella is sleeping with us and it has been getting difficult for me. She is waking up almost every hour and wants to eat to fall back to sleep. So we have been debating what to do. Put her in her bed? Use our playpen? Take a free crib from friends at Amazing Facts? We are just trying to decide. So the last two nights I decided to just let her wake up and not feed her. Enter tears, and whining. But I pushed through and didn't give in and she fell back to sleep - on her own! I was so happy. … [Read more...]
