Walking

Isabella has been walking for about 1 1/2 weeks. She doesn’t walk far distances yet – only about 5 steps at a time. Seven steps is her all time high. It is so cute because she looks like Frankenstein. We all smile and clap and are so proud to be witnessing her great milestone. She of course, eats it all up, loving the attention.

Isabella loves steps and chairs. My mom has two exercise steps (for step aerobics), and she just bought Isabella a small child’s plastic chair. Isabella really loves climbing on it. We are in Washington until Sunday. It is always nice to visit family here at home. They help so much, and it feels like I have so much freedom to just relax. Today my sister and I hung out for a couple hours while they watched her.

We are flying home on Sunday, getting on another plane and flying to S. California for Tyler’s parent’s 25 wedding anniversary. Then on Wednesday we are renting a car and driving to the Furnace Creek Resort in Death Valley National Park for Thanksgiving with Tyler’s dad. We are excited! Warm Spring water pools that are naturally 82 degrees will be so wonderful! We are blessed for sure.

Oh, I keep forgetting to mention that Isabella now has 7 teeth! She is getting so big and she is so smart. We will soon be getting family portraits for the holidays. I just got her a cute outfit at Wee Runs – a local consignment store. (You can find great deals at children’s consignment stores!)
