General Preschool Day
I thought I’d give you all another homeschool update. Labor Day has come and gone and Preschool has started in our home again. This is the second year we are doing preschool. My Princess is 3. She still loves school time. We started school with her last September when she was 2. It amazes me how quickly she is picking things up this school year. Her new favorite are the Leap Frog videos. Belly Button Obsession
I told you all over a year ago about my Princess' obsession with belly buttons. I wondered how long she would have this obsession, and yes, I can officially tell you that she still has it!I am more adamant about not allowing her to put her finger in my belly button now that she is over 3 and half. Holy Marriage
A few weeks ago, our pastor talked about the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5-7. He made this statement and even put it up on the screen, in a power point slide, for us to all read: Marriage is to make you holy not happy. My pastor made this statement within the context of the very high percentage of people who are divorcing because they just aren't "happy" anymore. Even within the church this is happening regularly. The latest news in our house:My Princess cut her bangs. Not too bad, luckily. Most people won't even notice it. I am so glad it was not worse. Why do toddlers like to do this?The Lion King soundtrack has become a favorite in our house. Note to self, next time just download the songs from the movie and save money.
