As the Princess and I talked about the recent wedding she was a flower girl in, she asked a question:
“Why did she get married mommy?”
I told her that they “fell in love“.
This puzzled my Princess.
{I mean, how do you explain ‘falling in love’ to a 3 year old?}
She has this big misunderstanding about falling and death.
{I think someone died last year due to a bad fall, I cannot remember how she got so mixed up.}
So she said, “But they didn’t die, even though they fell, right?”
I then proceeded to tell her that I don’t mean they fell down, that ‘falling in love’ is just something people say when two people love each other.
I am sure I confused her even more!
