I lost a friend this last week. Her name was Melissa. She was 28 and suffered with health problems most of her life. She died in her sleep of pneumonia. Her mother found her in the morning. I was shocked though to say the least. The first week I met her we got along very well and she told me that I was one of her best friends. Melissa had a big heart and was always generous. Update on Grandma Miller
Grandma Miller died this afternoon at her assisted living facility. She died peacefully in her sleep, without any pain. Her two daughters and one granddaughter was there by her side. It is bittersweet - We are sad to be losing a grandparent, we are tired of disease and death in this world, but we are glad that she did not suffer for months.
