Thank you eOne Films for sponsoring today's post. There is a new love in our home. My 5 year old absolutely loves Babar. We were sent the Babar Adventure Pack on DVD to review and at first she was unsure about these DVDs. We started with Babar: The Movie and that was it. She is hooked. She wants more Babar now. I am glad. Babar is a great DVD that teaches my daughter values and lessons. I am thankful for quality programming like Babar. Now, I can't wait to check out Babar books at our local … [Read more...]
8 Table Manners For Kids
Thank you Nuby for sponsoring today's post. I am thankful that my daughter, who is 5, has pretty good table manners. We had to work on it though. She wants to stand, run around, chew with her mouth open, and eat whenever she wants to eat. But, we have consistently tried to teach her good meal habits. Here is a list of 8 table manners for kids: 1. Wash hands before dinner. 2. Don't complain about the food. 3. Eat when everyone else eats or when your parents say you can eat. 4. … [Read more...]
Opposites Attract: Bink & Gollie DVD
Thank you NewKideo for sponsoring today's post. My daughter loves her friends. She is at the age where she can be friends with anyone. Really. I love that. She is a social little girl. This week her cousin learned to ride his bike. Now that is all he wants to do. He doesn't want to swing on her … [Read more...]
A Personalized Book is a Great Gift for Kids
Valentine's Day is this week. I am excited about the gifts I have for my Princess. She loves Valentine's Day. Do you give your kids gifts for this holiday? My husband and I don't really do gifts for this holiday. We do like to have a lunch or dinner together though. This year in addition to some clothing, a DVD, a few small treats, I am giving her a personalized children's book. We love reading together and she loves books, so to have a book that is personalized just for her is such a … [Read more...]

Children’s Artwork Idea
A family friend gave my mother a gift for Easter that was such a great idea, I decided to duplicate it. Truly an amazing children's artwork idea. Make cards out of your child's artwork! Pretty simple, huh? My daughter loves drawing pictures but I can't keep every one of them. I already knew that about the idea of scanning the artwork and making a book, but some of the her more "favorite" pictures can easily be made into blank note cards. Here is one of her pictures which I named "Happy … [Read more...]
