Family Game Night on the Road
When we travel to other states we generally fly and rent a vehicle. The travel time is greatly reduced from Seattle and it is much easier with two young kids. I mean, really, who loves traveling in a van for a few days with young children? Not me, that's for sure. But the downside to that kind of travel is we are limited to our suitcases. Read More Books to the Kids in 2014
My husband and I both enjoy reading. We want to instill that love of reading in our children. So, though we don't make New Year's resolutions per say, we think resolving to read more books to our kids in 2014 is a great goal to set. So each evening, the television goes off. After dinner is over and the kitchen is cleaned - my Princess has reading time. She either gets a book read to her, or she practices her Kindergarten reading.
