I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Carson-Dellosa. I reviewed the free content on their website to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Our former neighbor is a middle school teacher for our local school district and last week, while walking together, she told me that summer slide, or loss of learning during the summer months, definitely occurs. That’s why it is important for parents to work with their children, and encourage their children during the summer months to continue learning.

My second grader enjoys learning. But she likes when she can either do activities with mommy or play online learning games. We have been long time Carson-Dellosa fans so when we found a new website from them that offers online games and over 900 printable and reproducible activities I knew it was going to be a hit in our home!
Carson-Dellosa Summer Learning Activities

My seven year old LOVES when learning is made fun. I love that it is education based. She enjoys the online games, like Skip Counting Scramble. But she also enjoys when I print off worksheeets, do them with her, and grade them. I think that feels like school to her, and she already misses the classroom. This is a go-to website in our home for the summer months.
What are you doing with the kids this summer to beat summer slide? Make it easy on yourself and head over to the Summer Learning website from Carson-Dellosa!

Reading time is so important. We started at a young age with our son, and he still loves to read as a teenager! 🙂

There is definitely truth to the summer slide! My own children struggle with it, and I absolutely see it in my students, too. I love Carson Dell0sa products for my classroom, and love that they have items for home use, too.
