Parents: Do you control your child's mobile phone plan? #VirginMobileMom

I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Virgin Mobile. I received a sample device to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating. My daughter has been begging me for a cell phone since last Christmas. She is convinced her seven year old cousin has her own cell phone. So if she has one, why can't my daughter? You've heard those arguments before, right? But here's the kicker - my daughter is only six years old. She wants a cell … [Read more...]

How Much Does 3GB of Data Really Give You? {A Breakdown}

This post brought to you by Straight Talk Wireless. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Long Wait For Isabella. In September of 2010, my husband was looking at what we were spending on our cell phone bill and did some research. He found a wireless company, Straight Talk Wireless, that offered what we needed for a much lower price. We started saving $40 every month on our cell phone bill! In one year that is a $480 savings. For four years that we've been with them we've … [Read more...]

I Needed a GoPro Camera in Hawaii! #GoProatBestBuy

The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.   When we were in Hawaii for vacation two weeks ago, I really could have used a GoPro camera. We swam in the ocean everyday - it was litereally right across the street from our hotel. We also went hiking to Waimea Falls and swam at the bottom of the waterfall. The Pineapple Maze at the Dole Plantation was a big highlight of our vacation as well. … [Read more...]

I don’t print pictures, I share them. Digital safety is important.

I don't print pictures, I share them. Digital safety is important.

How was your summer? We had such a great summer. I have hundreds of pictures on my external hard drive and of course on the blog and my social media channels to prove it. But I don't print pictures out anymore, I share them. Which means digital safety is important. Do you print you photos still? We went camping in June, to Welk Resort San Diego in July, the Oregon coast in August, and in a little over a week we'll spend 9 days in Hawaii. We have such great travel experiences. I am so … [Read more...]

Monday Envelope: Great for the Homeschool Co-op

This school year I have joined a local homeschool co-op. Last year, I felt like I squeaked by quite nicely as a Kindergarten homeschool teacher. I bought this kit that told me what to do and say for the entire school year. It was pricey, but since it was my first "official year" homeschooling it was perfect. But truthfully, I don't know that much about homeschooling. I know when my daughter turns 8 I have to register with the school district. I have no idea if she has to take tests each year. … [Read more...]
