Preschool Organization

I mentioned last week that my Little Man is going to start Preschool next month. He will attend the preschool here in our local town with other friends, acquaintances, and even family members. It will be three hours per day and honestly, I am a bit apprehensive but truthfully I am mostly excited.

It takes a big heart to shape little minds.

I homeschooled my daughter for two years of Preschool, Kindergarten, and half of 1st grade. Let’s just say we have a lot of homeschool materials for all three grades. The various curriculum and printables have truly taken over my home office. I need an organization intervention.

This week I started my organization with all the paper work and printables. I am so thankful that I visited my local Walmart and found Scotch™ Laminating products in the office supplies section.

I had a full preschool curriculum that I purchased online. The price was affordable, I just needed to print out the worksheets. In an effort to keep these papers in better condition longer, I decided that laminating them would be the best option.

These Scotch™ Laminating Sheets are so easy to use:

  • You don’t need to use the heat.
  • Remove the upper strip of the Laminating Sheet
  • Place on the paper.
  • Slowly peel and cover the entire paper with the Sheet.

Just peel and stick!

Honestly, I still have a long way to go to organize all my Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade curriculum. Even though my Little Man will be going to Preschool outside of the home, I’d still like him to work on some of the great worksheets we have here at home.

So, next week, I need to going though the drawers in my two rolling carts and toss the things the products that are dried up, unusable, and/or garbage. Did I mention that I love laminating things now? I even made labels for one of my rolling carts.

I had no idea that you could buy laminating products for a home office without a big machine to do it. I am so going to check out Walmart so I can start laminating my singing time materials. I am the children’s song leader in my church and the materials are starting to get out of hand and need preserving. Thank you!

Yes! So affordable too. This machine was just under $20 and the laminating sheets were around $5 and you don’t even need a machine, Helena!

My little guy starts preschool next week and I’m a little nervous too! I also have a ton of old preschool materials, I need to get inspired from you and start organizing them myself! ~ Client
