Reptile Girl Birthday Party

5th Birthday

My Princess turned 5 this month. Where has the time gone? It is flying by. She is such a big girl. I asked her what she wanted for breakfast on her 5th birthday and she asked for Pumpkin Pie. So I went to Costco and got a big pumpkin pie and even put sprinkles on top!

We decided to do a reptile girl birthday party for her. We had the “Reptile Man” come and show all his amazing animals. It was such a great birthday party. Even the adults loved it!

I found a great seller on Etsy who had printables called Reptile Girl. She emailed me the PDF files and I printed the graphics right on my printer at home. It was great. We had fun putting this party together. {I do admit it was stressful the day of the party! Man, my daughter is one spoiled little girl!}

Reptile Birthday Food

So here was the menu:

  • Alligator Bait: Smoked Salmon
  • Snack Egg Sandwiches : Egg Salad Sandwiches
  • Snake Sandwiches: Smoked Salmon and Mayo {like tuna}
  • Python Pizza: Cheese pizza
  • Alligator Eggs: hard boiled eggs
  • Sea Grass: green salad
  • Gecko Grapes: grapes
  • Worms in Dirt: chocolate pudding, crushed Oreo cookies, gummi worms
  • Swamp Water: bottled water and Capri Sun

I had printable reptile coloring pages, mazes, and word finds available on the table with crayons. I found some wonderful favors online at Amazon.com that worked well with this party:

We also purchased this Vinyl Inflatable Alligator Ring Toss Game:

You know, even the adults loved this party! It was a hit.

Happy 5th Birthday, Princess!

    Wow, I am terrified of snakes but I’m sure nobody will forget this party.

    It’s funny (and kind of sad) that you’re 5 year old is more brave than I am around snakes. Ha! Looks like everyone had a blast!

      I stayed in the kitchen the whole time! I could see all the animals from a safe distance 🙂

    OMG, my daughter would be right up there with her too! I think that is such a cool idea for a party; mine would love it! Congrats for going with something a little less traditional 🙂

    All I can say is you are so brave! While the kids would LOVE a party like this, I don’t think I could bring those creatures into my house.
