Breakfast Prayer
As I placed scrambled eggs and toast in front of my Princess for breakfast, I forgot to say a prayer for her food. She was watching Veggie Tales on Netflix and I was going to sit in the dining room. As I sat down with my own plate at the table, I could hear her in the other room: "Heavenly Father, my food, mama's food. Amen." Such precious words that quickly pierced my heart. Speech Control
My Princess is doing pretty well going #One on the potty. It is #Two that is not fun. Yesterday, she actually went, in her diaper, FOUR times! When that wipe hits her bottom, she whines, “Too Cold!”. To which, I reply, “Too Bad!” I know, I know, that is not very nice of me. But some days I am not very patient and understanding when it comes to poop. She has now learned to say, “Too Cold! Scaredy Cat
That is what I was when I was three. A BIG scaredy cat. I was taking swimming lessons at a local pool. They put up a platform so that the shallow end would be even more shallow. As all the children held hands, and followed along with the instructor, singing Ring Around the Rosy, I was scared. So, now that my Princess understands the game Hide and Seek really well, and she hides when she goes number two - we now have a lethal combination. Potty Training Success
Okay, something quite cool happened yesterday. Dum da da dum... (that is my drumroll) my Princess went Poo Poo on the potty! When she started to hide under the kitchen table we knew exactly what she was doing. Hiding to go poo poo. (Why in the world do kids do that? Just go on the toilet!)
