When we planned to visit Kauai Hawaii for Spring Break with my parents and sister, we decided to visit an Island that we had not been to before. Kauai Island. Diamond Head: Our Hawaiian Vacation
Day 3: We did it! A 0.8 mile hike. The second set of steps is the most difficult in my opinion. 99 steps in that set total. Otherwise, the hike was pretty easy. The wind on the other hand, was a little much. My Princess did not have to walk at all. Papa and Daddy took turns carrying her. Lucky girl. The view from the top was certainly worth it. Hawaiian Vacation (Day Two)
Day Two continued: Dole Plantation. Fun to take the littlies and me. A train, a maze, pineapple ice cream, samples, and local artists. For cheap too. We could not ask for more. The North Shore. Day Two: U.S.S Arizona Memorial Entrance fee: Free U.S.S. Arizona Memorial Audio Tour: $6 but well worth it!U.S.S Bowfin fee with audio tour: $10, a great price that also includes the submarine museum. A wealth of information that easily took another 45 minutes.We arrived early at 7:30 am and were able to get the second boat ride to the U.S.S Arizona Memorial (8:20 am ferry).
