When I was younger I loved to draw and paint. I was not very good but I still loved having a sketch book with pencils and watercolors on me. I don't have much time for it anymore, but I can see now that my Princess is starting to love drawing as well. She recently got an oversized print to color. Instead of coloring it, she flipped it over and drew large pictures on the back. My dad likes to draw too, each week after our church potluck he enjoys sitting down and drawing. Start Training Early
Our family values education in school and life. That is why we made the decision to start training early with our Princess. We also will be doing this with our Little Man too. The tag line for this blog, "Train up a child... Proverbs 22: 6", is not just a tag line, but something my husband and I really believe in. Preschool on the Laptop
My Princess got a mouse in her stocking this year. Since she has been regularly doing her Preschool lessons on the computer, we decided to introduce her to the mouse. But, the mouse is "her size", which makes her very happy so she is persisting.I belong to The Christian Homeschool Hub and the latest conversation has been about Homeschool programs and … [Read more...]

I must admit once I made the outline and looked at resources online, I learned that homeschooling takes a lot of work. My daughter is only 2 years old so this is going to be pretty basic preschool homeschool. She is very interested in books and learning so I know she will enjoy this time together. These are the subjects I would like to teach my Preschool … [Read more...]
