Getting Ready for Kindergarten Homeschool

July 28, 2013 By LaVonne

Spread the love

Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring today’s discussion.

This year we will be doing Kindergarten homeschool. I am a bit nervous to be officially starting homeschool with my daughter. We’ve been doing homeschool preschool for two years but it has been very flexible. Now we will be purchasing a curriculum and doing school quite regularly.

Here is a list of ten items we will need for kindergarten homeschool:

  1. Pencils
  2. Paper
  3. Crayons
  4. Markers
  5. Scissors
  6. Notebooks
  7. Dry Erase Markers
  8. Laminator with pouches
  9. Paint
  10. Glue

Does your child’s school provide a school supply list for their class? If so, Walmart offers a fun new way to shop for the school supplies on your child’s school list. Check the Cash for Schools landing page click “find a list” to see if your school is listed. If you find your list, you can shop for all the school supplies for your child and get your school 4% cashback on all your purchases! And as a bonus, Walmart’s partners at Lysol® will award over $50,000 in cash prizes to the schools that earn the most cash back between 7/15/2013 and 10/31 2013.

Is your school not listed? Request a list and send an email to your child’s teacher. Or print out the “Free Cash For School” PDF and bring it right to your child’s school.

I don’t have to buy any school supplies. Jasmine’s school supplies are included in her tuition. But I do love school supplies and the smell of a fresh box of Crayola crayons.

That is great Tiffany. I love that it is all in the tuition package. That is so much more convenient.

Thanks Beeb! I am excited about homeschooling my daughter for Kindergarten. I am praying it goes well. I have this big fear of messing it up.

Good for you!! We’ve been doing some school work at home just to get my 5 year old son used to it, but man I just don’t have the patience to homeschool.

I love all these programs to help out our public schools. I didn’t know Walmart had their very own.

Great promo and I am totally with you! We are starting homeschooling in kindergarten this year. Although we have been working at it for the last year, this will be our official start 🙂

I can’t believe we are already talking about back to school. I will have to look and see if my local schools are participating. You can’t go wrong stocking up at back to school sales!

No kids to buy supplies for–Walmart’s is getting on the bandwagon finally what several other stores already do!

This sounds like such a great program! I cannot believe all the different school supply lists we got from teachers at open house. This is a great way to give back in the process.
