Vegetarian Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Spread the love

Our family loves getting the chicken alfredo pizza at Olive Garden, but since we are vegetarian we order it without the chicken. We decided to try and recreate our favorite pizza at home using vegetarian chicken:

What I like about making pizza at home is you know exactly what the ingredients are. We used

  • A whole grain pizza crust
  • Light Alfredo Sauce
  • Organic Mozzarella cheese
  • Vegetarian Chicken Strips
  • Green Onions

I have an app on my iPhone that lets my Princess “make” pizza. So when we made this pizza last week, she could not wait to help.

Vegetarian Chicken Alfredo Pizza is a simple pizza is easy for a preschool age girl to help make. She didn’t get things too messy either, which is helpful!

So the verdict?

We all LOVED it. Not as good as the Olive Garden because I know they use a full fat sauce and much more cheese, but this lighter lower calorie version really was tasty. My husband and daughter both want it again this week.

So yes, we will be making this Alfredo Pizza again!

Making your own is definitely better for Weight Watchers, but still a bit high. Thankfully, I have extra points each week to splurge!

Morningstar makes it. It is in the freezer section at Walmart. We like it on pizza and in tacos. 🙂

Alfredo pizza is now my favorite. I like it better than pizza sauce right now. A new thing…

That looks delicious. We just made something nearly identical, minus the pizza crust- basically just threw it all in the crock pot. 🙂

Great idea! I know what you mean about not being as “good” because of using less or lower calorie/fat options, but I can have more that way! 🙂

Oh yum! We have pizza night once a week and while I enjoy my Nutrisystem pizza, the kids roll out and top their own creations to eat alongside me. This is definitely a great flavor combo that they’d enjoy.

Ooooh we love alfredo sauce in this house! I might also try this with Naan bread for the crust. It’s great how the kids can get involved as it’s so easy & there’s such a variety of veggie toppings they could use to switch it up.
