I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser Nestle. French Vanilla Apple Strudel French Toast My husband comes from a long line of military heroes. His grandfather, great uncle, father, cousin, and he himself all served in the United States military. Patriotism is a part of our family life. We are very proud to be American. After traveling to a few different countries I can honestly say, “There’s no place like home.”

Do you have family members in the past or who are currently serving our country in the military?

Great Uncle George served in World War 2. He was shot in the head by a Nazi while he was serving in Europe. Uncle George is now buried in Belgium. He was a young man – far too young to die. But, he served so that others may live and be free. Thank you Uncle George and all the men and women who have served our country and are currently serving! For a special brunch in honor of my husband, I happily used Nestle Coffee-mate French Vanilla creamer to make a simple Vanilla Apple Strudel French Toast. vanilla apple french toast recipe My husband loves French Toast. I am not a big fan normally, because to me it normally tastes like bread with syrup on it. There is one local restaurant we frequent that offers Cinnamon Roll French Toast. He gets that every time. So I knew if I made  a special French Toast for him, he’d be happy. I found Apple Strudel bread at our local store and knew right when I saw it that it would make awesome French Toast. Honestly, you don’t have to buy this particular variety of bread – any bread would work. I know many enjoy Texas Toast style white bread but in our house we like things sweet. vanilla apple french toast Ingredients:

  • Apple Strudel Bread (10 slices)
  • 3/4 Cup Nestle Coffee-Mate French Vanilla Creamer
  • 2 eggs

So easy, right? I mixed the eggs and creamer together, dipped my bread in my egg mixture, and fried over medium high heat for a minute or two on each side. This was a quick and easy brunch recipe! I topped it with syrup and powdered sugar and served it with a glass of cold milk. It could easily be served with a nice hot cup of coffee too. That French Vanilla creamer from Nestle Coffee-Mate would taste great in there. french toast brunch

My husband LOVED it.

Does your family love French Toast?  What is your favorite breakfast or brunch recipe?

Yummy French Vanilla – this is super! I don’t have a favorite recipe for breakfast, I try to make sure there is something the night before, because I don’t feel creative in the morning, even if energetic!
