Toilet Paper Roll Gift Box DIY

November 29, 2016 By LaVonne

Spread the love

I’ve been shopping used this year for Christmas gifts for my kids. Our local thrift store always has bags of Hot Wheels cars for only $2.99. Our local consignment sale had books and collectible figures for sale this year too! I bought up some fun toys I knew my kids would love for their stocking stuffers. As I thought about how I’d like to wrap these little toys, I searched online, and found a great idea: toilet paper roll gift box. This gift box DIY is so easy. And I LOVE upcycled craft projects.

All you need is to save your toilet paper rolls, use some wrapping paper, scissors, and tape! It’s just so easy.

Toilet Paper Roll Gift Box DIY Directions

  1. Wrap toilet paper roll.
  2. Flatten toilet paper roll.
  3. Bend in both sides of toilet paper roll.
  4. Add small toys and gifts inside toilet paper roll and bend in the other side of roll.

So simple right? My daughter even made a fifth one for a bracelet she is making. Now she wants to make more. All we have to do is save our toilet paper rolls. Such a great gift box DIY!

Pin it for later:

You can also use thin cardboard from cereal boxes, etc to make your own tubes. That might be helpful for slightly larger items that would not fit in a toilet paper tube.

Yes! Great idea, Nancy. You could use a lot of items that would normally go in the trash or recycle bin. I love it! Thanks for the idea.

Such a cute idea! I have little nephews who are obsessed with Hot Wheel cars. They would love having little packages to put their cars in!
