Mini Vegetarian Pizza Ingredients

Our extended family and friends all love game day. It’s a great time to come together each week to celebrate and root for the home team. But, as you know, it is also a day for eating fun snack foods. When you’re keeping track of your food like me, you are always finding smarter options for game day. I’ve been counting my points with the Weight Watchers points plus system for a couple months.  So, making a Weight Watchers friendly pizza recipe is a must for game day.

There is something about pizza and game day – they are just good friends. They pair together nicely. I like that I can use Weight Watchers endorsed products for a delicious and easy vegetarian pizza.  Building the pizzas is fun too. You can literally add anything you’d like as toppings. Buying Weight Watchers endorsed products makes tracking points plus so much easier!

So here’s the simple breakdown:

  • 1 Toasted 100 Calorie (3 PP) Sandwich Thins
  • 1/4 Cup of Marinara Sauce (1 PP), split between two slices of bread
  • 1 Weight Watchers mozzerella string cheese (1 PP), split between two slices of bread
  • finely chopped veggies (0 PP)

I placed both in my toaster oven for 10 minutes on 425° F. So easy and delicious!

You can find Weight Watchers endorsed products at your local Walmart. The sandwich thins are found on the bread aisle as well as other bread options. You can find the string cheese in the dairy section at your local Walmart with the other cheese:

What a great “deal” on points! Even if one is not using that system, it still lets us know that this one won’t break the calorie budget.

This is a great lunch or snack and wow… so few points. I bet they are pretty filling too. #client
