Family and friends love to visit us here in Western Washington during our summer months. Our summers are glorious here in the Seattle area. The green, the blues and the white snow capped mountain ranges make this the most beautiful place in the world. At least in my humble opinion; and I’ve been to a lot of places. {There’s no place like home.}
Summer time entertaining and hosting is a favorite for our family. We often have family stay with us or friends from other parts of the state. But, we like to also have friends come for dinner or play dates and serve food and have fun. Wild Salmon is always on our menu when people come to visit! The worst part (if there is one) in having guests over is the cleaning before. We like everything to be extra clean for company – especially the bathroom.
Do you clean up more when you know others are coming to visit?
Four Easy Bathroom Tips for Summer Entertaining

- counters
- sinks
- floors
- toilet
- bath tub/shower
2. Tuck away all personal toiletries
3. Leave out a few things guests can use
- Lotion

Charmin is one of those brands that just can’t be beat, you know? Ultra soft and a great value – having guests means having lots of Charmin toilet tissue on hand. What I especially love is Charmin’s clog-free guarantee. When guests are over, especially family’s with children, that is what I always worry about. (It’s embarrassing for people to clog your toilet anyway!)

I love the tip of keeping an extra towel around, you must have the towel gremlin also! I swear I always have a towel in there when my friends come over, but it always goes missing… pretty sure it might be a kiddo in my house, but will not name names 😉
you never want to run out of TP, especially not for a party! LOL
Your tips are great! I just make sure my bathroom is stocked well and that I also have an extra towel. Where do they go????
We forgot to stock up on TP in the guest bathroom the other day. That ended up being an embarrassing day.
Thanks for the great tips – the towel one is a big one! Charmin is our go-to brand – we love its softness and the fact that it is long-lasting.
