True Love: A Star Wars Toothbrush

Brushing Teeth

My husband and I have always been very proactive with our own oral care and especially our kids. We have a great dentist in our small town and the kids get their teeth cleaned and a get a check-up 2-4 times per year. Both of my kids have done a great job in the dentist chair and have been model patients. They both have also loved brushing their teeth.

In fact, my son went through a phase where he wanted to brush his teeth up to 10 times per day! He was obsessed. It has gotten better, thankfully. We don’t have to worry about him forgetting to brush his teeth. Ever. I grew up with a mouthful of constant cavities and fillings – I am thankful that my kids won’t be dealing with that.

Firefly Star Wars Toothbrush

Last week we were sent new toothbrushes to try out. In fact, I am not sure if my kids or my husband were more excited about the new Star Wars toothbrush. We received not only the STAR WARS FIREFLY® READY GO LIGHT UP TIMER TOOTHBRUSH but also the FIREFLY® STAR WARS LIGHTSABER LIGHT UP TIMER TOOTHBRUSH.

I mean come on, a Lightsaber toothbrush that makes amazing noises and lights up? That is going to be a hit for people of all ages!

Star Wars Lightsaber Toothbrush

Here’s the run down of the above Lightsaber Star Wars toothbrush:

  • flashing Lightsaber toothbrush with sound effects
  • Star Wars themed flashing sculpted handle toothbrush with soft bristles
  • 1 minute light-up timer turns off automatically signaling children to stop brushing the top row of teeth and begin brushing the bottom row
  • Replaceable cover
  • Batteries included last the life of the toothbrush and cannot be replaced

I love that these number #1 selling toothbrushes encourage children to brush for the recommended 2 minutes which help to form healthy brushing habits. Using popular children’s characters to instill these great oral care habits is such a great idea. These are perfect for gifts all year long for kids!

Hello Kitty Oral Care

Firefly® did not leave my daughter out. They also sent her a fun new Hello Kitty toothbrush and anti-cavity mouth rinse. She is in love with these new products too.  They are now part of her daily routine in the morning before school.

Oh man if my son saw this post he would have me in the car already to go to the store and buy this! He LOVES Star Wars and this might get him brushing better!

This idea is pure genius. It’s so hard to get kids to brush their teeth. Making it fun is a great way to win the battle.

Ok, did you and your husband for a moment try to take if for yourselves. I would have! That is way too cool and I really like the one minute timer. Great reminder on how long you should brush.
