This last week my daughter’s class had a Mother’s Day picnic for moms and grandmas. It was such a sweet picnic and the kids not only performed some beautiful songs, but the kids read favorite things about their mom. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as child after child got up to tell why they loved their mom.
I have mentioned many time before how truly blessed I am to have an amazing husband who is also a great father. He works from home quite a bit and there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for us. He works hard and loves big! So for Father’s Day I wanted to give make him something more special than a simple store bought card. I wanted to put some effort and personalization into it. He deserves it! So I took the statements from the paper my daughter read to me last week, added them to a simple to create photo card, and voila! we have a fun and easy:
Super Father’s Day Photo Card
My 1st grade daughter will get the chance to fill in the blanks on this special Father’s Day photo card. My husband, I know, will treasure it forever. The best part, besides how easy it was to create, will be the look on his face when he opens it on Father’s Day.

Considering there is a Superman/Batman film coming out soon, this is an awesome idea. What a cool way to show your appreciation.
Yes, Liz. And since my husband is a big Superhero movie fan, this is perfect. I can’t wait to see what my daughter comes up with.
Such a wonderful way for kids to show how much their Dad means. This would be perfect for Father’s Day 🙂
Thank you Betsy! My husband will love it!
Cute idea! My husband would love that!
