Walmart Best Plans: Keeping Track of the Memories

Memories Never Fade

Life with two kids is never dull. I am frequently tired and even more frequently frustrated. Two is a hard age  to parent, isn’t it? I forget if it was this hard with my daughter. Boys are just plain different. But, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

No matter where I am, I always have my essentials – wipes, extra pull-up diaper, wallet, lip gloss, and a great smart phone. Memories are always being made and I love the ability to document it all – the good, the bad and gthe ugly. And believe me sometimes it is ugly. (I won’t scare you with pictures.) And a phone with Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web? Well, that just makes my life a whole lot easier!

Finger Painting

This week my son used his finger paints for the first time. These are the kind of memories, that I like to document and remember for the future. He has so much fun making a mess with his paints. {I am just thankful for Color Wonder capability!} Snapping photos with my DSLR camera isn’t always convenient, but my Alcatel Fierce 2 has an awesome camera that takes great photos.

Smart Phone Camera

The ability to document all the memories on my phone with a few simple apps and a great data plan? Well, as a mom to two young kids, that has now become essential. My phone is my new scrapbook.

Here are the three apps that I cannot live without right now, at this stage in my parenting life.

3 Apps for Moms

  • Evernote
  • Instagram
  • Facebook

I use Evernote to write down all my memories and occasionally I add a photo in this app. I use Instagram to edit, upload and share picture memories. I connect Instagram to Facebook so I can share these great memories with my entire extended family and friends. Facebook also allows me to write updates on what we are doing and I can go back and easily look at it all.

Do you have a must have app that you are using right now?

In case any of you are interested, I purchased the Alcatel Fierce 2 at my local Walmart. It is a great phone to use with the Walmart Family Mobile Plan.  The 4G LTE coverage and low cost unlimited plan is amazing. Truly.

Walmart Family Mobile service is $29.88/month(for the first line) Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan which includes up to 500MB of 4G LTE data.

My favorite app is actually a mileage tracker It tracks mileage for business, and gives me a comprehensive report – no more writing down start/finish mileage in a ledger!

My husband needs that one, Andrew. Very badly. What’s it called?

I think the more memories you can make with your kids the better! They LOVE working with their parents and I LOVE doing stuff with my kids! I take pictures all the time to remember it all.

I’m the same way. I am thankful to have a phone with me at all times to store all these great memories we’re making!
