Thanks to Nestle Toll House for sponsoring today’s discussion. (Like I need a reason to make cookies!)
While much of the country has been experience cold and frozen temperatures, our state of Washington had the warmest February on record. Local ski resorts have shut down early and even reimbursed season pass holders. For a month now, we’ve felt like it is Spring. Our daffodils have bloomed and many are gone to make way for our world famous tulips. Spring is here and I couldn’t be more pleased.
So in honor of Spring, I made some very easy springtime chocolate chip cookies. To be honest, when I make cookies for family dinners and church potluck (and I do make them often) I just buy Nestle Toll House refrigerated cookie dough. It is easy. I love the flavor. It’s a brand I trust.

But to make it seem like I have worked really hard on the cookies, I like to decorate them up a bit. Either I’ll use frosting on sugar cookies with fun sprinkles, or I’ll dip the chocolate chip cookies in white chocolate. They are always a hit. Family members ask me to make them now. Should I tell them it’s Nestle Toll House? {Wasn’t this a Friends episode?}

So easy. Truly my kind of dessert.
- Break the chocolate chip cookies apart
- Bake them at 350 degrees for ten minutes
- Cool and dip into melted white chocolate
- Sprinkle the white chocolate dipped cookies with your choice of sprinkles
Voila! Semi-homemade white chocolate dipped chocolate chip cookies.

You can’t have too much chocolate, Melissa! LOL!
This would make these cookies even more delicious!! Thanks for the great idea, I just added them to my grocery list!
It makes it so easy to bring cookies to Easter dinner or church potluck. I love it!
You just made these delicious cookies even better!!! Love your photos too.
Thanks, Kim. I sure appreciate your kind words. Everyone loved the cookies (me included, though I only got one).
I am going to have to look for these!! They sound absolutely amazing and I love that I don’t have to mix up all the ingredients! I never thought to dip the cookies like that!
About ten years ago my husband and I stayed at a B&B and they dipped cookies in white chocolate and had them on platters in the hallway for guests. I LOVED it. So now, I like to make cookies like this. And everyone loves them too!
Chocolate chips cookies plus white chocolate? Goodness gracious these cookies sound {and look} fabulous!
Thanks so much for the inspiration!
It is very yummy, Ashley! A big hit in our family. Thanks for coming by!
I have to have a glass of milk with my cookies (although tea is OK sometimes).
I love semi-homemade! These cookies look delicious and that dipping adds a little bit of a personal touch without too much work.
Your my kind of lady, Maggie! That’s exactly how I feel too.
these look very good but very rich. I’m not sure if i would like them or not.
the dipping adds so much to the cookie and it is easy
These look delicious! I love that these are easy to make.
I love white chocolate, my favorite too! Perfect combination too when using chocolate chip cookies and dipping half of them in white chocolate, great with a tall glass of milk.
I’m not a fan of dipped cookies, personally, but it does make them look classy! (I mainly don’t like how sweet the cookies get when they are dipped – they are plenty sweet already)
