For the last three years my husband has eaten the same breakfast everyday! Yep. Steel cut oats to be exact. He loves it. It is one of those things I absolutely love about him,  but also drives me a little crazy. It is really his personality to love a certain food and eat it daily for life. But in all honesty, I am thankful – he is so healthy, healthier than I am in fact. He is a good example to me and our kids and I look forward to a long life with him.

Currently, he is splitting his time between home and work (about two hours south of us). This travel lifestyle means that we need healthy and convienent breakfast options that he can eat at home and travel with. Thankfully, there is Better Oats® Oat Revolution® Steel Cut Oatmeal.

#breakfastduo

Better Oats® Oat Revolution® Steel Cut Oatmeal comes in a 10ct box and is available to purchase at Walmart. It comes in two flavors: Apple & Cinnamon or Maple & Brown Sugar. He can eat this at home before driving down south battling traffic, or he can heat it up in our microwave at the travel trailer. Plus, if he’d like to sweeten his oatmeal we also have Truvía®. A natural, zero calorie sweetener made from the Stevia plant. Pairing this with a couple packets of Truvía® makes this truly a healthy breakfast duo.

When I eat steel cut oatmeal I prefer it to be naturally sweetened with Truvía®, but my hubby loves adding a few more ingredients for an even larger and healthy breakfast. The Apple & Cinnamon is great with added chopped apples and peanut butter mixed in!

Besides being healthy there is one more thing that I LOVE about my hubby – he is very frugal. He likes to say, “I’m not cheap, I just like to spend wisely.” So when I can feed him healthy  meals and also save money, well, he’s all for it. {So I am I, in fact.}

Do you love technology? I am hooked on my smart phone. The apps are endless and I’ve found one that pays me for shopping. Yes, you heard that right. Get paid for shopping, people! Jingit is a free app that has earning opportunities.

#breakfastduo

For example, right now, if you buy one Truvía® brand sweetener product and Better Oats® Oat Revolution® Steel Cut flavors Apple & Cinnamon and Maple & Brown Sugar at Walmart® you can get $6 cash back! I love to save on easy breakfast options! Plus, it is just so easy. Simply download the Jingit App on your smart phone and find the offer you’re interested in. Purchase the products. Scan your receipt. Wait for your money! Voila! Easy, peasy.

Don’t you want to download the Jingit App now and enjoy healthy breakfast solutions?

      Diane, what’s funny is I usually eat the same breakfast each morning too. I’ve even blogged about my breakfast a few times here. I guess the hubby and I are pretty similar!

    My husband is the same way. He always eats the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day.

      And lunch too, Mistee? I could never do that! Men are so funny like that, aren’t they? I am thankful my man is healthy though. Also glad that this brand travels easily!

    I love Oatmeal – and I love that they have the Steel Cut Oats now. This looks so good. I also love the idea of adding Truvia instead of traditional white sugar. Much better for you!

      I love it too and since my hubby already eats it, I was happy to try this brand and get some cash back!

      I like that Truvia is a natural sweetener from a plant and is zero calorie. Sweetness without the guilt!

    I’m all for eating a healthy breakfast every day, but I do switch it up a little. Truvia is a great choice for sweetness!!!
