My Little Man was sick the last few days. Which means, with the hubby in Tacoma for work I was stuck inside with the kids. You’d think I would have gone crazy, but we kept busy. One thing we did was some crafting. We scoured Pinterest for some ideas and I found a few examples of toilet paper Halloween crafts. I didn’t want to make a “scary” toilet paper craft but thought a pumpkin toilet paper craft was a fun idea for my Princess.
Step 1: Measure width and length of orange construction paper needed to cover the toilet paper roll.
Step 2: Glue the pumpkins orange color onto the toilet paper roll.
Step 3: Cut out green pumpkin stem from construction paper and glue onto orange covered toilet paper roll. We glued it to the inside of the roll closest to where our face would be drawn.
Step 4: Use a pencil to draw a pumpkin face. My Princess made a jack-o-lantern style face. Then she filled in the triangles and mouth with gold glitter glue. She wanted it to look like there was a candle inside and it was glowing.
Voila! A toilet paper roll pumpkin craft!
Sweet! My nine year old daughter and I plan on making similar tp roll Halloween Crafts. We have been saving rolls for weeks. lol Happy Halloween.
