Our Messy Kitchen

Our Messy Kitchen #DeltaFaucets #HappiMess

My kitchen is messy on a daily basis. At any given time throughout the day there is some mess in the kitchen. It might be dishes, food, arts and crafts, lists, books or more that are cluttering my kitchen. There is always something to be cleaned in the kitchen. When I take photos on my kitchen counter, don’t be fooled — I am working around messes and purposely not showing them in my photos.

Does this sound like your kitchen too?

messy house quote

Honestly, I don’t mind the messy kitchen. We eat almost all our meals at home. My kids know they can have a healthy snack at the kitchen counter, read a book, or make a craft. I am still teaching them to put things away. Heck, I am still learning to put my things away right after I’m done using them. {It drives my husband insane. He is our resident cleaner. Truly.}

A messy kitchen to me is a lived in kitchen — the true hub in our home. All those dishes, food, papers, books and crafts all get cleaned up eventually. Honestly, they get cleaned up on a daily basis. Only to be once again placed the sinks and counter tops the next day.

    My kitchen is always messy too, and we don’t have children at home anymore. It’s just me and my husband.

      Well, mine will probably be always messy. Even after the kids are gone too. We hang out there, rarely eat out, and cook all our meals. But that’s ok!

    It’s worth noting that the prize is for $2,400, NOT $24,000. Don’t want to get people’s hopes up too much!

      Ha Ha Ha! I don’t know how that got missed. I guess subconsciously I was hoping for $24K in my own home. LOL! I changed it and I am so glad you left this comment. Thank you.

    I love this! I have a new home and feel I “must” keep it up, but it’s just not humanely possible as an everyday task.

      Don’t stress about it any more Jennifer! You are just like the rest of us!

    Our kitchen is usually a mess too. It also drives my husband bonkers.

    Our kitchen and dinning room are both “the hear of the house” and tend to be messy.. but they get a thorough clean up once a day. I can only take the mess so long lol.

    If you think that’s messy, please don’t judge my kitchen. I have super cluttered counters right now.

      No judgment here, Jen. Life gets super busy, I know. The papers, the mail, the toys, the crafts, and snacks all pile up on my counter too. And that’s ok 🙂
