It is hard to believe we are almost in the month of September. We will be starting 1st grade homeschool next week. And on the 26th of September the long-awaited family friendly movie – The Boxtrolls will be coming out! We like making crafts with trash here. In fact we’ve made a few toilet paper roll crafts and featured them on the blog. Next week for art class we will be building our own Boxtroll with either a toilet paper roll or an empty juice box. I am going to let my daughter choose. Stay tuned for more details! About The Boxtrolls
From the creators of Coraline and Paranorman, The Boxtrolls introduces movie audiences to a new breed of family – a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs in the amazing cavernous home they’ve built beneath the streets of Cheesebridge. Boxtrolls take the identity of the box they are made out of. {Eggs is called Eggs because his box has a picture of an egg carton on it.} Boxtrolls are builders and tinkers. They take junk and repurpose it to make new usable objects. Boxtrolls might not be “pretty” but they are magical in their own way and their creativity is certainly not to be ignored!
