I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for Huggies. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
My Little Man was a late walker. My husband was starting to get worried. I figured he was fine though and I was in no hurry at all to have him walking. Because I knew. My life would drastically change once my baby was on the move. Since he was 17 months old I have been chasing him like crazy. Now he isn’t walking anymore – he’s running! {And climbing, and jumping…} Life is not slow at all with a 24 month old.
When did your children start walking?
Thankfully, for all of these fast moments in our life we have Huggies Little Movers diapers. He really is our Little Mover – he doesn’t sit still at all. From the moment he wakes up he asks to go outside. To run. To play. He will stay out there all day if we let him. His extrememly fun, fast paced class at church? He can’t sit still.
My Princess was so much different. She could sit still. She actually listened when we told her to sit still. This guy? Not so much! Because he is always on the move it is difficult to get him to change his diaper. I need a diaper that I can trust to keep him dry and comfortable throughout the day.
Huggies Little Movers are made with new Double Grip Strips, soft, durable Velcro strips on the sides and front diaper panel, for an all-around comfort that lasts during those exciting moving moments. The Huggies Little Movers diapers feature a SnugFit waistband for all an around stretchy fit and have an enhanced soft pad and come in new graphics and designs.

(He’s Walking, Running, Jumping – Oh My!) My grandson is going to be a late walker also, he just turned 15 months this month. He can walk behind a stroller or one of his walking toys, but he is just unsure about taking off on his own. I guess they finally go when they are most comfortable with the whole thing. 🙂

That’s what I kept telling my husband – he’ll walk when he wants to walk. It goes the same with potty on the toilet too it seems. No matter how much we push, they’ll do it when they’re comfortable!
Robin {Mom Foodie} says
My daughter was an early walker, her delays are in other areas.
LaVonne says
My daughter had speech delay. But my son talks really well. It is funny how two kids can be so different.
Mama to 5 BLessings says
We use these too for my active little guy, they work great!
Chelley @ A is For Adelaide says
My daughter was supposed to have gross motor skill delays and not walk til 2, said the doctors… but at 18 months she started and hasn’t stopped since! We love all the activity… but having a good diaper makes walking with less worry, a must!
LaVonne says
That is awesome Chelley! I so glad for you daughter. And yes, a great diaper is very important 🙂
Our Family World says
I had early walkers, around 10 months and I had very late walkers, at 17 months. And mine are the same way, they have not stopped since.
LaVonne says
My daughter walked at 11 months. But she could sit still by 2 and listen when we asked her to stay seated. But my son? No way. He is on the go.

My kids all started walking fairly early. My oldest was 13 months, my older son was 10 months, and youngest son was around 14 or 15 months too.
I remember my oldest son, he was a super wiggle worm when it came to changing his diaper. Some days it was a wrestling match or I would have to constantly grab his leg to keep him still.
LaVonne says
Yes, my Little Man is a wiggle worm EVERY TIME we change his diaper. It is difficult to say the least. It is so amazing how two children are so different. My daughter wasn’t anything like this. 🙂
