I was vegan for 6 years before I had my first child. Many of our meals are still vegan at home. One day, I’d like to go back to a vegan lifestyle – with kids it seems difficult. I know, I am just making excuses. But when I can create round-ups featuring vegan recipes, it makes eating vegan a whole lot easier.
What is your favorite crock pot recipe?
Probably sweet and sour chicken wings. Not exactly vegan though!
Jenn, I think sweet and sour is awesome. I do have a vegetarian option for it here on my website. But I think the meat alternative would break down too much in a crock pot. I ought to look into though! 🙂
I don’t think I have ever made a vegan crockpot meal, but we use our crockpot all the time. My favorite meal we make is probably Root Beer pulled pork, but a lot of these recipes look delicious too!
With a can of root beer? That sounds pretty interesting! I love how creative crock pot recipes are and they still seem to turn out tasty.
I seriously do not use my crock pot enough and I don’t know why. It’s so easy! Thanks for all the new ideas!
I wouldn’t mind trying them all since they’re vegan. 🙂
My husband won’t even try vegetarian meals let alone vegan! He’s a meat guy all the way! We love bbq pulled pork in the crockpot.
Thankfully, my husband is more healthy than I am. He is constantly being a good influence on me! I need that. 🙂
I want to make that black bean soup! Crock Pot meals are the best.
I love anything in a crock pot because it is EASY. And as busy as I am, easy is a must!
I just told my husband we need to take our crock pot into the RV. It is so easy and I will get the crock pot liner so cleaning up is even easier!
I must make those slow cooker baked beans!
The Bourbon Maple Slow Cooked Baked Beans sound absolutely delicious! I’ve got to try this recipe!
I love doing chili in the crockpot but have never thought to do it with quinoa before. Great idea!
We love chili too. We have not added quinoa but regularly eat the chili with brown rice. We love quinoa so we are trying that one!
That quinoa chili looks great! I love crockpot recipes, they save so much time usually.
I love my crockpot! I’m not vegan but have made meatless meals, I think there’s a difference between the two no? those baked beans sound yummy!
Vegan would just not have any dairy products – but yes both meatless and vegan are healthy indeed!
My SIL is vegan, I’m sending these her way!
Thanks Michelle, I hope she likes the collection!
Oh these would be great to slide one in here and there.
We aren’t vegan so my favorite recipes all have meat 🙂 I love turkey breast in the crock pot.
I love any excuse to pull out my crockpot! Thanks for the additional meals. We aren’t Vegan but my middle child is stating he’s vegetarian and he’s stuck with it for the past 6 months. He’ll appreciate these!
When I was in 10th grade I became vegetarian. The rest of my family were not. I stuck with it. It is amazing the will power of kids, huh? I need that will power now with sweets. Ha!
My hubby would never let me get away with meat-free meals but I love some of these ideas for lunches for myself.
