My Princess loves her loom bracelet maker. Is your child loving this fad right now? The single loom bracelet and the fishtail bracelet are her favorite to make. So we decided to make a bracelet for a Valentine’s Day card. {I was inspired by Dandee Designs friendship bracelet card.)
She gets bored quickly so a small bracelet is something we do work on together. I actually think it is pretty fun too though.
She picked red, pink and white for her Valentine’s Day bracelet colors. We started with red and finished with red – 13 “rows’ of 3 colors all together. (I don’t speak “loom” language, but I think you get my meaning, right?)
We printed a basic little graphic on white paper, “Our love LOOMS over all, Valentine”. We attached it to a pink piece of scrapbook paper, punched a hole in the corner, and attached the loom bracelet.
She signed the Loom Valentine Card when we finished. Voila! An easy and pretty quick personal Valentine’s Day card.
Here is the simple graphic we made in 450 pixels which is close to 3.5 inches:

That is such an awesome idea! Love it! Both my youngest daughters got Rainbow Looms for Christmas so I am definitely going to have them make these for their Valentine parties at school. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you! It is fun to make these and a trendy Valentine’s Day idea for sure! Plus, it non-candy ideas are always great.

This is a cool idea and it beats giving kids a bunch of candy. The bracelet will last longer too. I hope her friends enjoy her Valentines cards.
LaVonne says
Thanks, Christy. That is what I thought too. Though of course I do like Valentine’s candy… But kids on a sugar high? Not so much!

I am making these for my niece for her valentine party who is in first grade which I am pretty sure will be a hit:) My daughter is in fourth grade and I think the class will like it because they are always wearing and making the loom bracelets and animals, they seem to be in
to making the animal looms more, but I think they are more difficult to make, for me anyway. Opinions please:)
