Holiday Organization with Brother P-touch

December 17, 2013 By LaVonne

Spread the love

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Brother P-touch. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating. holiday organizing I shop all year long for great deals on Christmas gifts. Then, those purchased gifts have a lovely home in a box or bin in my garage. If I were smart, I’d keep a list, write down what I purchased, and place them in the bins right when I get them. Instead, I have this huge mess right before the holidays to go through and organize.

When will I get it together?

Thankfully, this year, I have help from my little friend, the Brother P-touch label maker. This little guy is making holiday organization fun. I am looking for more things (like electronic cords) to make labels for now.

I pulled out all the boxes of gifts that were shipped to my home. Ask my neighbors, I do a lot of online shopping. With two kids it is just a lot easier. (Don’t judge me!) I don’t just have Christmas this month to organize for though, I also have my Princess’ birthday and my husband’s birthday.

I got my Princess’ gifts separated – birthday gifts and Christmas gifts. I wrapped all six birthday gifts and placed them in the bin. I made a fun label using a pre-made template. I made other labels for my husband’s birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, and then other bins on the shelves that needed labels.

My husband told me, that no, I could not organize the entire garage right now. He was only going to help move the Christmas items for me. Bah humbug! {I would have done it all if I could!}

This great handheld label maker is a lifesaver. I just want to show you how great the cord labels turn out:

Now, this is on my to-do list before the month is over. I am going through all of our electronics’ cords and labeling the ones I know and bagging the ones I don’t. Those cords will go in the garage in a bin labeled “Electronics”.

Can you imagine the fun a Brother P-touch Label Maker can be?

What would you organize and label in your home?

Remember, to celebrate their 25th anniversary, Brother will be having special promotions and deals at office super stores and retail partners. Be on the lookout!

    You’re so organized! We’re working to get better organized in our home, labels would be awesome for all of the Christmas decorations, I was going through all the boxes trying to find ornaments this year.

      We have a bin for decorations, lights, and misc Christmas stuff. They are on the top shelf in Christmas colored bins. I didn’t label those. But I think I will this week. It will make it that much easier to know which to grab next year. I love being organized, it just doesn’t happen as much as I’d like. This label maker makes it a lot easier though! And it is really affordable!

    You are smart and plan ahead, I like your thinking. I need to do the same thing. I do love the idea of labeling cords, they are start looking the same when you have tons of gadgets in the house.

      Thanks, Christy, I do try to stay on top of things and be organized. I don’t deal well with chaos and my husband is the same as I am. He is actually more organized than I am.
