This last week my husband took my daughter on a trip to California for four nights. He went to visit his sister in the San Diego area and to celebrate their birthdays. You see, my daughter and husband have birthdays this month. You have no idea how excited my Princess was to be able to go on a trip just with Daddy.
Did your older child have trouble transitioning to a two child home?
My Princess loves her brother and is really good to him. But she does share her feelings with us – her parents – about how life is now that her brother is getting bigger. She is really having to share our time with him, and it is getting hard for. I admit we are guilty of making her do things for her brother to keep the peace in the household. The crazy thing is, I remember being the oldest and hating when my parents did that with my own sister. But here I am doing it to her too.
So a daddy daughter vacation was in order.
They had a family birthday party on Sunday, LegoLand on Monday, and SeaLife Aquarium on Tuesday. Then back home on Wednesday. My Princess came home tired, and now my husband is getting a bit of a cold. {Not fun for me!} But they had a blast.
Airplane rides with my Princess are a breeze. She is such a great traveler. We can get a movie either for her iPad or portable DVD player. And now we have a small Android tablet we picked up on Black Friday that is even more portable!
I am thankful that we have Maxell Safe Soundz for my Princess when we are traveling in the car, on the airplane, and while laying in bed while visiting family this holiday season!
About Maxell Safe Soundz
Maxell Safe Soundz is safe volume lowering headphones for children. There is a 75 decibels maximum sound output with these headphones. The padded headband and earups provide long-wearing comfort. They also have a small size and bright patterns that kid’s will love.
And believe me, my daughter loves her Maxell Safe Soundz. Our in ear speakers were not working well, and the noise cancelling headphones that my husband owns are just too big for her. These are perfect for her! There are times she thinks they are not “loud enough” but for ages 3-5, they are just right. I want to protect her hearing!
